How to get here?
Going to Coal Mountain Resort is a little edgy. It was almost 11:00am when we began our journey. We had the bus via Argao that took us 4HRS of road trip and dropped off at San Miguel Street. Then, we ride a tricycle from San Miguel Street and informed the driver to drop us to where the habal-habal drivers are located.
The more challenging part there were the rough roads – we had to tackle the roughness and steepness of it for an hour. It was a bit tiring but the views on the way are worth watching.

*So, we had this relaxing and very clean room when we arrived and was assisted by one of the staff named, Lovely. We took a rest and had our photo-shoot first, of course. Then, we decided what to do first since we arrived almost 3:00 in the afternoon.
Coal Mountain Resort can also accommodate activities like team-building, training, seminars and other indoor and outdoor events.
*COAL MINE DEMO-TUNNEL
This resort features a 475-foot long demonstration tunnel as per in the brochure. This tunnel is 70 ft below the ground and the guest have an option to try the activity for them to experience what it feels like to be a coal miner. Guest is also advised to wear boats and helmet, all-importantly, the headlamp because it will light the tunnel’s pure sludge way.
*Look at our boots after the activity! Try this demo-tunnel activity because it’s kind of cool to be underneath. It’s fun!
*SWIMMING POOLS – SPRING WATER
What’s more interesting? This resort also features a swimming pool – water source from the mountain spring. The heart-shaped swimming pool is for the guest adult—to add a romantic scene during the stay and the other 16 foot tall swimming pool is for the guest who wants an extreme adventure because of its jumping and diving spots.
*We spent most of our time here at the 16-foot diving pool. We even jumped and do the diving like we owned the pool.
*ZIPLINE – HANGING BRIDGE
This resort also provides an enthralling activity like zip-line and hanging bridge. It has a mini resto-bar where you can spend the evening by scanning the book song and belting out the very best songs of yours.
*Featuring our very own Lovely Rose Barazon who happens to have the same name of the staff that assisted us.
Guest can bring their own foods and if you don’t have time to bring, the coal mountain resort has its mini-bar and you can inform the staff ahead of time for them to prepare the very fresh food you’ve ordered from their menu.
If you are asking if their foods are worth buying? Yes! They have delicious and very fresh foods! We had our extra rice every meal.
Here are the menus just for you!
*Overall, we had a well-spent weekend at Coal Mountain Resort in Argao. A peaceful place that is perfect for relaxation and it’s very far away from the busy life in the city. Staffs are very friendly, jamming and will assist you immediately.
